Five die, four seriously injured in car accident in Nakhon Ratchasima province

Five people were killed and four others seriously injured when a pickup truck crashed into a roadside tree and overturned in Non Thai district of Thailand’s north-eastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima late Sunday night.

Thailand’s northeast to remain cold until Thursday

Temperatures in Thailand’s north-eastern provinces are forecast to drop by 4-6oC from today (Monday) through Thursday while, in Bangkok and its suburbs, northern, central and eastern regions they will fall by 2-4oC over the same period, the Meteorological Department reports.

Mae Sot Border Reopens After Three-Year Closure

Krungthep Thanakom claims BTS contract for Green Line extension services is illegal

Krungthep Thanakom, a state enterprise under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), has informed the Administrative Court that the company, under its previous administration, was not authorised to hire the Bangkok Mass Transit System Company (BTS) to operate the first and second extensions of the Green Line train service.

Eleven baby turtles perish after eating plastic and garbage

Eleven baby sea turtles have been found washed ashore in Sattahip last September, all ultimately died due to ingesting garbage. The turtles were found off the coast of Sattahip by marine officials.

Alleged Taxi Driver Gang Attacks Boat Operators in Pattaya
