Thai lady's door locking antics lead to the death of her boyfriend - he falls six storeys off balcony

Sanook Thai Caption: Fourth year student fell to death off balcony

 

Police in Muang Phitsanulok, northern Thailand were called to Ban Klong sub-district after a 21 year old fourth year Business English student fell to his death from a sixth floor balcony.

 

Thannaphop was pronounced dead at the scene. It was 3 am.

 

His girlfriend Daeng said they had been out celebrating in Muang district and on the way back they had had an argument, reported Sanook. 

 

They went to the sixth floor condo and thereafter Thannaphop said he had forgotten something in the car.

 

While he was gone she decided to climb out on the balcony and go on the ledge leading to the room on the fifth floor. 

 

The man in the fifth floor room heard a commotion from the argument and managed to help Daeng into his own flat.

 

Meanwhile a security guard said that he saw Thannaphop come down and he apologized for the noise.

 

But when he went back up he was unable to get into the apartment as it was locked from the inside.

 

He got a locksmith to open it up and then climbed out on the balcony after his girlfriend.

 

It appeared he fell while trying to get her.

At 3am he suddenly got a locksmith?  Ya right.  He happens to know a locksmith and they are there in a flash in the middle of the night.

What does a locked door have to do with him, being an idiot and falling off the balcony.

 

First it's the railing, now it's locked doors making people fall off balconies.
