Migrants granted right to challenge Rwanda asylum policy.

Recommended Posts

Migrants facing potential removal to Rwanda under the Home Office's relocation scheme have won permission to challenge the policy.

Last month the High Court ruled that the scheme was lawful.

Today's ruling means there is no prospect of flights leaving immediately while it goes to the Court of Appeal.

Home Secretary Suella Braverman has said she is committed to making the Rwanda policy work.

rwanda is  a lilliputian country that does not even have enough space for its own 12 million inhabitants or so! where will these immigrants be housed? kagame, the rwandese "president" just wants to find a pretext (1) to make himself look good by europe (2) to justify his invasion of the neighboring  rich rdc. it's not a secret, his beautiful capital city, kigali,  is built with stolen minerals

The headline should read, Illegal Migrants.

The people subject to being flown to Rwanda are being sent their to have their asylum applications processed, they are therefore by definition of the Rwanda scheme ‘asylum seekers’.

It is not illegal to enter the UK to seek asylum, regardless how entry is made.

They are therefore not ‘illegal migrants’.

The U.K has built some hotels there for them to stay ( free of charge) , although it cost the UK 120 Million quid to built the hotels
