This video was already featured in some thread or other a while back. As I recall, the information was outdated. And while the name of the company makes it sound like it's some sort of scientific  research organization, they mainly do consulting work for the oil industry

Didn't bother watching as Feb 2020 ... basically 3 years old, based on even older research & tech.   A lot has happened since then.

 

Same can be said about lithium batteries, solar panels, better design & chemistries.  Any & everything, 3-4 yrs older, especially in the 'eco' industry has progressed leaps & bounds.

 

Most anything is better than fossil fuels; drilling/spilling, transporting/spilling, refining/polluting, using/burning/polluting.  

 

Was thinking the other day, while driving the EV, and realized, the whole oil, energy & ICE industry is a sad joke.  Embarrassing people have fallen for it the last 25 ish year.  Inclusive ... eyes wide open now.
