PRIME MINISTER PRAYUT Chan-o-cha today (Jan.29) was dared to take part in an open debate between partisan contestants for prime minister.

Pheu Thai leader Chonlanan Srikaew challenged Prayut to join the proposed debate between varied partisan contenders for prime minister somewhere in near future where they could openly manifest their vision on varied issues.

Chonlanan insisted that the people in all parts of the country learn of any visions of different candidates for prime minister well ahead of the next general election so they may make their decision and cast their vote accordingly.

He can't keep his temper under control for a live debate.

Beside that lovely quality, if you've ever noticed that he doesn't speak terribly well, as he's not very intelligent.

Perhaps reflective of his choosers and appointers.

Most people understand he knows nothing about politics or running a country, why should he open his mouth publicly and prove it.

Just send his smarter twin to debate

Too hasn't got any vision and can barely speak let alone debate.

He's also a coward, has never stood for election by the public and never will.

debate hahah

it would be more like total devastation.

Lol indeed. This guy cannot debate. He is not a politician. He is a supposed soldier boy with very limited brain power—not that politicians have a brain of course, but they are generally good with words. This character will just shut you down when he is losing. Would love to see him in a live ‘debate’ on stage with his nemesis Thaksin so he loses maximum face.

I would pay good money to see uncle tu get his backside handed to him on live TV. That would be the tv show of the decade.

He will never do it though because he couldn't give a stuff about voters anyway. He already knows he is going to win.

They don't have any; politicians switch parties according to how much they can filch.  Prayuth doesn't need to debate anything; he has more tanks than any of the others.

Normal practice in a functioning democracy .......... some of the work already like that for hundreds of years - your call!
