Police from Thailand's Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau have failed to locate a missing 40 million baht Lamborghini belonging to alleged gambling kingpin Chaiwat, better known as Benz Daemon.

 

In mid January the racer's ex girlfriend Arisara "Dew" Thongborisut made allegations about him and "four brothers" in connection with the Macau888 gambling investigation.

 

Benz is believed to have gone to ground in Hong Kong. Another person involved has fled to Dubai.

 

Thai netizens think the men involved were allowed to escape by immigration - indeed Siam Rath reported a connection between a Region 2 officer based at Suvarnabhumi airport.

 

The location of Benz's Lamborghini Mad Bull Liberty Walk Aventador V2 remains a mystery after three raids yesterday in Saphan Sung and Pattanakarn in the Bangkok area and a car repair shop in Nakhon Ratchasima.

Two Mercedes Benz belonging to suspects Kittipong and Isara, believed to be in Dubai, were seized in Saphan Sung.

 

In Korat two of Benz Daemon's racing cars, a Nissan Skyline and a pink Cefiro were seized.

 

But the prize capture of the Lambo was nowhere to be found.

 

It is believed to have been stashed following the actress's revelations.

In a related report a police spokeman drew a connection with a an immigration policeman called "Officer Bright" who has been ordered held by police at Bangkok's main airport as part of the investigation.

 

Sanook said that 7 people have been arrested and six more were wanted in the inquiry. Five have fled abroad, there is no evidence that the other has done so.

 

One is the immigration policeman referred to by Siam Rath as "Bright".

 

The cyber cops have applied to speak to him though he is yet to be named as a formal suspect in the case.

 

He is facing disciplinary action only, a fact that netizens find doubly suspicious reported online media.

its way past time that the police etc that help these criminals escape justice or are themselves involved in it are arrested and put in jail, maybe then they will start to realize they will not just get a slap on the wrist like they do now. Anyone that breaks the law needs to be jailed, doubly so for police as they are supposed to be the ones stopping it but in Thailand many are the ones organizing or allowing it knowing that all they will face is being transferred and not being jailed as any other country would do, graft and corruption reign supreme in Thailand and th govt refuse to do anything about it because they are part of it

If Thais truly want change for the good, they must vote MFP. All other parties are a vote for steady as she goes.

So are these alegedly crooked Royal Thai Police part of the lot of 110 "bad apples"? Or in addition to that figure.

Every day you read about corruption here, but they don’t wanna do anything about it. This is how the country operates just money TIT.

Good thing the RTP helped that Thai tourist out Sa Kaeo way or their reputation would be in tatters.
