Malaysia’s prime minister Anwar Ibrahim met with prime minister Prayut in bangkok yesterday, 
Their meeting focused on the turmoil and security along the southern border with Malaysia, Ibrahim pledged to “do whatever is required and necessary” to facilitate the peace process
they also discussed investment and infrastructure,  and agreed  to accelerate bilateral trade to US$ 30 billion dollars by 2025.

 

42 Thai rescue workers from USAR Thailand, with disaster relief materials and equipment have flown to Turkey. 
 

They will spend 10 days assisting with search, rescue and recovery following Monday's quake which has claimed more than 20 thousand lives so far.


USAR Thailand is part of a 50-nation rescue operation, organised by the United Nations.
