Special investigation police are checking to see how much money was being held in 8 bank accounts belonging to an illegal lottery website. 


The CEO Mr Pant-awat faces at least 2 charges of money laundering over suspicious transfers of funds. Police had earlier successfully requested the bank accounts be frozen. 

 

Part of a building that was under construction on Rama 9 rd in bangkok  collapsed yesterday injuring at least 5 people, all said to be cambodian workers, there were about 25 workers on the 4th floor when the 5th floor collapsed trapping some of the workers. 

 

Arrest warrants have been issued for 3 migrant workers from Myanmar who are believed to be responsible for the murder of a Hmong family in tak province a week ago.


The two groups had argued over unpaid wages for working in a tapioca field.

 

Drivers who wish to renew their vehicle tax disc will first have to settle any outstanding traffic offense tickets, 
The new rule is due to come into effect from 1st April.


Drivers that fail to display  the tax disc can face a fine of 2,000 baht and lose one point on their driving license.

 

Health officials have warned the public to be aware of dengue fever after almost 2,700 cases were reported leaving one fatality last month. Further heavy rain is forecast and will increase the number of cases,  striped mosquitoes are most likely to spread dengue fever.

North Korea” Radio Free Asia reported the country is forcing people who have the same name as Kim Jong-un’s daughter, Ju-ae, to change their name.


Kim’s daughter,  who is about 10 years old is being portrayed as “the supreme leader’s noble daughter,” she’s named Ju-ae, authorities have been ordered to “eliminate the use of the name by individuals.
