A man suspected of shooting dead a motorcycle policeman two weeks ago was killed in a shootout with police at a resort in  Nakhon Ratchasima.


Police tracked down the suspected killer Mr Mong-kon-chai to flats where they called out his name, He opened fire, police returned fire which resulted in his death.

 

A Move Forward MP yesterday called on the chief of police to follow legal procedures and confiscate a building on Phaholyothin road Bangkok, the 101 million baht property was bought by a suspected  money launderer and rented out to a political party that is endorsing the current prime minister.


The suspect who also happens to be a senator issued a libel lawsuit against the Move Forward MP who had accused the senator of involvement in money-laundering and drug-trading scams.

 

A new poll shows Thai Prime Minister Prayut has gained ground on frontrunner Paetong-tarn Shinawat and showed the former coup leader was the most popular choice for prime minister in the capital Bangkok.

 

Korea has donated over 500,000 doses of it’s biva-lent Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine to Thailand to mark 65th years of diplomatic relations.


The donation will enable Thailand to vaccinate against the original strain as well as subsequent variants of covid 19. 


American soldiers will be taught muay thai boxing during their next round of cobra gold exercises due to take place from next Monday  until the 10th of march. 40 year old boxer and trainer Sombat Banch-amek,
said Muay Thai is the best martial art in the world and it’s now being accepted worldwide.

The government's instruction will be effective until mid July.
