Daily News Thai Caption: Hunt for "Grab Car"

 

Sunitra, 25, in Pathum Thani contacted a florist at New Pak Nam Talat in Samut Prakan with a floral bouquet request at the weekend.

 

She wanted to surprise her boyfriend who had just graduated from uni.

 

Via Line it was agreed that a 3,010 baht bouquet would be arranged and sent to her for 540 baht in a taxi.

 

The bouquet contained 50,000 baht in cash, money that Sunitra transferred to the florist the next day.

 

Florist Weeraphon, contacted GrabExpress (car) driver Narongsak and met him near his shop with the details of where to deliver the bouquet.

However, he simply disappeared with the flowers and money.

 

Weeraphon went to the ang Sao Thong police yesterday to check on the hunt for the thieving driver.

 

He called on Narongsak to own up and surrender to police.

 

He said that he had fully reimbursed the customer and would package flowers for delivery better in future.

Let me just assure those who sent the floral arrangement with the 50k in a taxi that the noble prize for being dumb is already taken by another buffoon but they're in line for the next year prize,

Guess he won't be making the 'Honest Thai Taxi Driver' headlines any time soon then ????

Actually, I need to send about 4,000,000 worth of diamonds to a friend in Bangkok.   Could someone here pick up the diamonds and take them for me????  I'll also be enclosing about 300,000 in cash a maybe a little gold.   All with proper documentation.

 

I'm sure I can trust my fellow man!!!!!!!!  Especially with money!!!!!!

 

I have a USB drive with over 10,000 bitcoins and it might be too heavy for me to transport......anyone help me????????

I’m sure when they contacted Grab.  They were assured that the issue will be given to the relevant department.  That seems to be the standard response 

Giving a flower presentation made of money  ???? 

To a taxi driver must be like waving a red flag at a raging bull

I am sure we will be reading that the honest taxi driver will be handing it back saying he had a minor  relapse and is  sorry ???? 

 

They don't call it GRAB for nothing!

 

Next time use one of Thailand's many honest cabbies.

My friend once accidentally left all my bun kun money in a taxi….

It almost ruined my wedding. 
My wife contact the taxi company and to our surprise they returned it…

But to this day I’m still thinking would it of ruined my wedding…

I get the story, of course it was the dumbest of ideas to let a driver transport a flower bouquet where this much cash is clearly visible.

 

Anyway, more important... Her boyfriend graduated university and she wanted to surprise him with a 50K gift?! That's the story right there for me and one lucky guy if you ask me...  ????????

I know you probably have already received offers to transport the diamonds, but, can you tell me where you are and wait till June for me to pick them up.   June is when I go to Bangkok! 

You can keep the gold.  I try to stay away from heavy metal!
