Thai Oncologist Cycling Through Every Province For The “Thai Unity Against Cancer Project”

Dr. Anirut Niranat, an oncology surgeon at Phayathai Hospital and Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok, understanding high incidence of cancer, took leave of absence to undertake a cycling project to raise funds for the fight against the disease.

Early morning on Saturday 4th March he was accompanied by municipality officers and members of Hua Hin Bicycle Club as donations were received at the Chatchai market area.

 

Dr Anirut says: ”Today I saw the kindness of Hua Hin brothers and sisters from the cycling team who came together as representatives of the Hua Hin people”. He offered his thanks for the support of the charity project.

The cycling journey began in Chiang Rai Province and continued through 63 provinces.   After Hua Hin, the journey will continue south to Kui Buri District and continue to the southernmost regions. At the project’s completion Dr. Anirut will have cycled through all Thai 77 provinces.
