KhunBENQ
The first of two fuses of a UPS has triggered (4A, the ones in the glass tube with fine wire). Supplied replacement works. But would still be better to have a spare. Anybody knows where to get in Pattaya? Edited March 10, 2023 by KhunBENQ
jacko45k
I ordered off AliExpress but bet Lazada carry them too. The electrical shop on North Rd just down from the Bus Station might carry them. Edited March 10, 2023 by jacko45k

Guderian
The big hardware/DIY stores should have them, I've bought them there before in places like Thai Watsadu or Home Pro. I've bought them in packs of five fuses, as you say, it never hurts to have a few spares around the place. Be careful what you buy, though, as they look pretty much the same but have different amp ratings.

brianthainess
As my house has a good RCD as a quick 'Temporary' fix i rapped some ally foil around it, that was about 5 yrs ago. i have never got around replacing it.

I think you know that an RCD does not replace a fuse.
KhunBENQ
Sounds like the term "fine wire fuse" is misunderstood? Does "glass wire" hit the nail? Nothing to do with household circuit breakers. Edited March 11, 2023 by KhunBENQ

KhunBENQ
Surprise. Found a near match at HomePro on Sukhumvit. They have 5 A, 10 A and 15 A (longer cylinder). 5 A is not 4 A but I think the device would survive. Edited March 12, 2023 by KhunBENQ
