Sanook Thai Caption: Case twist

A Thai man called Rin or Ek in the north east sought the assistance of a lawyer after his ex won 12 million baht in the lottery and went and married a cop.

Ek was moaning that he'd been with Chaweewan for 20 years through thick and thin supporting her as they raised 3 children, reported Sanook.

Then she had got rich and dumped him for a copper.

However there were some plot twists to the saga.

Chaweewan hit back to say that while her ex was away in South Korean he had not sent back 20-30,000 baht a month.

It was morelike 3-4,000 baht.

And she noted that they had never officially married (jot thabian).

I worked i this country, and for foreigners the average salary is between 40 000 - 60 000 bht a month teaching. I have no idea which trade would pay a Thai man better than a foreign teacher except, maybe, prostitution. Any less than that then there is no way he could send back what the wifey expected him to. Korea is expensive to live, and the natives are not very friendly and I found more Thais speaking English than Koreans.

If she bought the ticket and legally they are not married ( on paper )   then tough ti_ies.

He's wasting more money in getting a lawyer. Never trust anyone.
