Popular Post JimmyJ
About 3 - 5 years ago I posted in one of the forums here that one can submit a claim to Equifax in a Class Action Suit for their data breach. Just received a check from them for the princely sum of 22.82 USD. On my way out the door to go condo shopping and buy a new car, but am mentioning in case you submitted a claim - you should have received payment by now, sent to the address you used, (or to the bank account you specified - not sure if that option was given when making the claim or when they announced they are sending checks). 1 2
The Theory
I knew that the check amount won't be more than what you got. ???? I rather to keep out.

I did the middle option IIRC - 1) Just check the box and email; 2) I made a list of Time Spent/For What, with a cap of X hours max to bill for; 3) Add Receipts/Documentation. Similar amount for mine...$5.21. Told my US address caretaker to shred it. Not worth the time or expense sending here.
