Prince William has written to a grassroots football club condemning the racism its players and coaches have faced.

The heir to the throne, who is president of the Football Association, said he was "deeply concerned" by their experiences and that those involved "must be held accountable".

Alpha United Juniors, a team based in Bradford, first spoke out in November, revealing how for years players as young as seven, have been on the receiving end of slurs and even threats of violence from the sidelines.

That this is happening in a grassroots club is disgraceful. Supporters and family on the sidelines sure know who the racists are, they need weeding out.

Well done Prince William for speaking out.

Jumping on the band waggon again without looking into claims of racism, claims of it are not always reality. As with the Hussey case he should take time to look into claims, which is all this is, with no details, before letting himself be triggered into his pointless virtue signalling outbursts.

Claimed racism, according to a black activist I asked in the 80's what it was she replied anything we say it is! Sadly too often used just to demonise those some disagree with, like the 'far right, nazi and bigot labels'

Another one of those conveniently had, conveniently recalled conversations that you wish us to believe took place decades ago while asserting your doubts on the ‘reality’ of the racism being challenged by Prince William in 2023.

What do you mean decades ago? him commenting on the Lady Hussey non racist event was months ago. He's obviously the Prince of woke shooting his mouth and letters off without looking into claims of racism, an accusation is enough for this royal idiot to start bleating about there's no place for racism blah blah blah, probably wrote the letter on one knee.

“What do you mean decades ago?”

From your post I was responding to:

according to a black activist I asked in the 80's

‘Lady Hussey’, there’s a thread on that, this isn’t it.

Do you know any real details of this alleged football racism and threats of violence?

Do you?

What is the basis for you objecting to the reported racism, beyond your demonstrated aversion to racism being challenged?

So you just accept media claims without any details or proof at all? Somebody only has to mention 'racism' for you to get on the offended of Hampstead bus.
