OTT police: Innocent man confronted by foul mouthed Suthisan officers who thought he was selling stolen vehicle

Siam Rath went to investigate after a man in Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi, said online that he had his neck squeezed and was thrown to the ground.

 

A group of Suthisan officers from Bangkok - some with ID some not - had a man with them who had lost a motorcycle.

 

They claimed that the Yamaha bike that Somrak, 27, was selling on behalf of his brother was stolen.

 

Somrak said it was completely over the top and he got no proper apology - the cops just said sorry to the phu yai ban. He was hurt in the incident.

He said the police all used the pronouns "goo and mung" to him - this is foul and inappropriate language in Thai.

 

They left leaving Somrak to explain to curious neighbors what had happened.

 

He said he lost face in the incident that was all cleared up when the brother arrived with all the necessary documents to prove that the police sting had got it all wrong.

 

It happened outside a bamee noodle stall in Bang Bua Thong 4.
