Pattaya — Despite calls for e-cig legalisation, Thai police still retain a harsh ban on all kinds of vaping devices as they arrested two Thai e-cigarette vendors last night in Pattaya with over 100 pieces of vaping equipment.

Both arrests took place around 10:30 PM in Pattaya’s Tree Town Market. The first vendor, named Mr. Thawee Taweechan, 50, was nabbed red-handedly while selling e-liquid with fruit fragrances on the street. Police told The Pattaya News that they also seized 43 pieces of vaping equipment from him.

Then, the officers arrested another suspect, Mr. Krisada Sangsawang, 20, while he was brazenly selling vaping devices on a table.

Smoking banana flavour is very bad.

I wonder why they picked on these two on this one day. E-cigs are openly on sale everywhere and used far, far more than regular cigarettes at Thai nightlife venues. If they were serious they could arrest many dozens of Thais any night of the week in Pattaya or Bangkok, and no doubt elsewhere.

Is it just my imagination , but do all these e-ciggie sellers sell sex toys too ? It seems far as i see when walking in Pattaya and looking at vendors the two go together hand in hand (OK wrong choice of words, get that picture from your mind)

Probably they haven't, because if they had it would be all over the news with a dozen cops posing for the press.
