My Thai wife, who’s negative on my habit of Ganja smoking insists that Ganja cube I bought online smells very strong. It maybe laced with YaaBaa or pesticides to enhance the effect (and sales). That is hot topic in Thai TV news. Since there is no competent authority to control quality it maybe possible.

How do you think?

Many Thais have no concept of quality weed and susoect anything that even approaches the way way weed should actually smell.

Im not sure how this relates back to your cube weed, but i have had plenty of Thais question whether or not my weed is "pure" based on its strong smell and their inability to do little more than drool after a single hit.

I rarely offer to share as a result.

That said if your weed smells like burnt plastic when lit, she may be right.

Thais rely on the hive mind and when it buzzes they all think they know something you dont, instilling their lack of knowledge and paranoia into anyone who cares to listen.  Dismiss it and carry on

Outdoor brick weed is very likely to have had some pesticide sprayed on it during it's life cycle. But it's not to increase the potency, it's to kill pests. Many insects love weed and they can either ruin or kill the crop.
