April 6, 20233 yr Selling my house in Australia. I pay tax in Thailand (up to end of last year). Have not needed to lodge tax return in Australia in the past 5 years (not required). So they consider me non-resident in Australia for tax purposes. Question is whether I need to pay CGT if I’m not living there?
