Hi,

I do have an one year extension of stay based on "Non O Marriage"-Visa and 40K per month with work permit, salary statement from the company, monthly & yearly income tax papers.

According to Sunbelt there are different options to proof the 40K income...

1) Work in Thailand: Work permit, 40K monthly salary and all the required tax papers...

2) the wife has 40K monthly income and her tax papers...

3) Working outside Thailand: You must provide a certified income statement from your embassy. You may also be asked to provide a letter from your employer, or other documents to support the proof of income. (ie. bank statements).

My questions:

- Did somebody try option 2) or Option 3) yet?

- What papers are required for Option 3), eg. from the embassy?

  • How can my embassy give me a certified income statement if I'm not working in my home country?
  • What papers do they need to give me a certified income statement?
  • If I work for different employers in overseas on a per job / project base... Do I need to get some sort of salary statment from all of them?

Thank you for some information.

Marc
