Hello, do you know the brand " CANDY" for air contionner ( never heard of them before, but it's an Italien brand   associtated with HAIER, name that I know )

I ask, because there is one at Lazada for 7999 bahts ( 9000 btu ( 5000 are enough for the room 27 m3 ) , inverter

cheap, but how about the quality ?

CANDY

The name sounds very high end.

In my experience inverters struggle in the hot season, especially when it is really humid.

For a little more you could get a trustworthy and reliable Mitsubishi that'll keep you cool and is totally reliable.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries are the best IMHO. They will almost certainly see most of us out!

What is the problem? My concern is always that inverters don't reduce humidity as much as traditional air conditioners. Is that justified?

Op.

If you buy online for an Aircon.

What you going to do if it goes wrong. ?

I did this for the ML home, and the unit developed a fault.

after a week and a half of waiting for the engineer to come.

I gave up and used a local guy to fix it.

He did and it was fine after, 1500 baht to fix.

Just something to consider.

I would not do this again for an Aircon unit.

to much aggro,

It was no fault of Lazada, just the company selling the unit.

Ps it was not a Candy unit

But any make of Aircon unit can develop a fault.

I've had both inverters and regular aircon units.  I ended up replacing the inverters because they just couldn't keep up with the heat and humidity (113 today).

My Mitsubishi aircons have a dry mode that reduces the humidity and really helps the comfort levels  and saves electricity.
