Thailand’s U-22 national soccer team left Suvarnabhumi international airport this morning (Thursday), for the SEA Games in Cambodia to prepare for the opening match with Singapore on Sunday.

Led by head coach Issara Sritaro, the 18 players will be joined by two more, Jonathan Khemdee and Settasit Suvannaseat, shortly.

Speaking to reporters before departure this morning, Issara said that the team is 90% physically fit, but will be fully ready in the next few days for the opening match, adding that he is confident that his team will win, although it will be tough.
