The media's 'Biden Protection Program' is back

SEAN HANNITY: Now, of course, Joe also loves a good cheat sheet and a compliant media mob. Take a look at your screen now. This is a picture of a note card that Biden was holding yesterday at a press conference entitled 'Reporter Q&A' with the sub-headline 'Question #1', followed by a reporter's name, her picture and where she works, The L.A. Times. And the card also detailed the exact question she wanted to ask. It was about semiconductor manufacturing. And right on cue, Biden called on the L.A. Times reporter for the first question. And guess what she asked about… semiconductor manufacturing. But now the L.A. Times and the Biden White House, they're denying that there was any collusion at all whatsoever… Why lie that there is photographic evidence that Biden got the question in advance as Senator Marco Rubio tweeted, quote, ‘Biden has the media in his pocket. Literally in his pocket.'

Well I can't really see why the White House denied that there was any collusion at all, when scenarios like this are quite common in Q&A sessions and public speaking venues.

There was no need to lie, as many reporters have their questions vetted before being allowed to ask them of a particular speaker, so the speaker does often know in advance what is coming anyway.

No big deal and it is done all over the world. Only Hannity and Fox trying to score a few "points" after their recent, and possibly forthcoming, loss of face/debacle.

Next please.

None of that matters. This is a pretty simple question of journalistic ethics.  What real journalist worth their salt would voluntarily GIVE THEIR QUESTION to the President's handlers?  They should collectively feel ashamed.

A preplanned interview is another matter, a one on one situation.  But a supposedly spontaneous event like this?

If this is just "the done thing", then why is it so carefully hidden?  The Washington Post recently had a story saying the same thing- "we are all in on it, c'est la vie".   If that is the case, I cannot understand why the reporter in question (works for the LA Times I think) won't confirm the situation.

Agreed here too. Ditto for Donna Brazile giving the Clinton campaign pre debate information.

Too much of a cozy relationship between the press and the White House in general.  If you asked the general public, they would be shocked that these press events are something akin to professional wrestling.  Just a performance that is designed to look like a genuine event.

I enjoy watching an actual journalist like Matt Lee grill the White House flunkies.

Actually, it was quite a relevant question considering the context of the conference:

“Your top economic priority has been to build up US domestic manufacturing in competition with China, but your rules against expanding chip manufacturing in China is hurting South Korean companies that rely heavily on Beijing,” she asked. “Are you damaging a key ally in the competition with China to help your domestic politics ahead of the election?”

It was indeed relevant. Also given to Biden and his staff ahead of time by the reporter. The question is not the issue. The issue is the collusion between the media and the President to present events like this as if they were spontaneous journalism, not kabuki theatre.  And their attempts to hide it.

Is there a doctor in the house?  His heath looks  bad [ and it's not getting any better] than he should step down or get some real doctors to check him out.

Desperation is all they have left, that, Sean Hannity and Fox "News".

I would have thought that the Fox management would have learned their lesson after the Tucker Carlson debacle. Perhaps not.

How about the same doctors that Trump used to declare him a stable genius?

It's not really shocking considering the context, which was also diplomatic. In this context, it makes sense to safeguard the reply to this particular question.

Simple answer - every single member of the white house press corps. The white house press corps have never been "real" journalists. Ever.

So a guy can be elected to the US Senate without knowing the meaning of the word "literally"?

Moron.

Not sure why this is even news as it's been painfully obvious during his campaign and presidency.

Av reasoned argument with links in support would be good instead of flinging innuendo.

Kids, the topic is BIDEN and his cozy relationship with the press.  Joe is famous for blurting out "I'll get in trouble" if he dares to speak to reporters too long (which means more than 90 seconds). He has yet to hold a press conference this year.   I think he is also the only President to be ordered around by the Easter Bunny, but I could be wrong about that.

One can see the obvious bias by the leftand their propaganda machine. If it was another President besides this one there would be a out cry

in the streets about the lack of reporting on the Biden’s IRS whistleblower scandal.

Oh the optics.

8 days and counting and not a peep !

Actually, the President's last press conference was in November last year, just after the mid term elections. So more like 150 days or so.  Easy mistake to make with this President though.

Do you mean that Comer's claims should be taken seriously?

Any evidence to support this rather unique theory of jornalistic integrity?  Or that other world leaders have pre-printed answers ready-made for them to use in meetings with the press- complete with numbers attached to show the order in which the journalists will be called?

Get him to the Walter Reed, take him there under cover of night, administer the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test and don’t tell the voting public why it was necessary.

Then start a campaign of accusing the political opponent of suffering cognitive decline to put everyone off your scent.

Can we please have claims made by FOX placed in quotes and clearly marked as suspect, co

Lets not go to Goo Goo Land, Joe is just too old for the job. His Approval rating is now 37 per cent and going down. No hospital can save you from old age.

If you are referring to China, North Korea and other dictatorships worldwide then yes, I am quite sure the questions and answers are pre prepared. In a proper transparent democracy such fraud and corruption would never happen. That the biden admin tries denying it when they were literally caught red handed doing what they deny is just SOP of the democrats as they know they will never be held to account.

This corruption and denying the obvious is a reminder of how the left have become the fascist authoritarians they accuse others of being. Shame their Ministry of Truth was disbanded - Nina J could have made it an official rule. Biden did never fix the press question time it was all legit and anyone noticing the cheat sheet would be banned from the internet, just like with the lappy. Of course a cognitively able politician like Trump would shred the reporters dumb questions with ease and style.
