Nakhon Nayok: -- A  summer storm has wreaked havoc on people's homes, causing severe damage. The storm brought down trees and electric poles, which resulted in a widespread power outage. The incident has prompted officials to take swift action to assist those affected, reported Daily News.

According to reports, the storm hit the province on May 9, 2023, and has caused significant damage to several houses in the area. Pictures and videos shared on social media show the extent of the destruction, with roofs torn off, walls collapsed, and debris scattered around.

The strong winds and heavy rains also caused trees to fall down, blocking roads and causing disruption to transportation in the area. Additionally, the power outage has left many households without electricity, adding to the difficulties faced by residents.

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has also dispatched teams to repair the damaged electric poles and restore power supply.

The summer storm in Nakhon Nayok caused severe damage to homes and disrupted daily life. Swift response from officials and rescue teams is critical to assist those affected. Being vigilant and taking necessary precautions during natural disasters can minimize the impact and keep us safe.
