BANGKOK: -- The 5-star Amari Watergate Hotel in the heart of exotic Bangkok was the grand stage for a sparkling press conference announcing the 5th Edition of Mister National Universe. The event was graced by esteemed guests and media personnel from across the country and around the globe.
 
The press event began with a hearty welcome from the Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Seagame Arthit Mekarkard, Mister National Thailand 2016. This was followed by an inspiring opening speech from the Honorary Chairwoman of the Competition, Thai socialite and celebrity, Khun Sumanee Gunakasem. Khun Sukamal Mondal, Area General Manager of Onyx Hotels, concluded the opening segment with an engaging welcome speech.
 
The audience was then treated to a mini fashion show from Varda By Sinee and introductions of Dr. Kritti Nampradit and Tanasit Patcharawisitphakin, Thailand's representatives for the Mister National Universe 2023 and Mister Fitness Supermodel World contests respectively. A bouquet presentation by Mr. Mondal, GM of Amari Watergate Bangkok, recognized Varda By Sinee's executive, Ms. Suthasinee Phromliaam, and the young models.
 
One of the highlights of the event was an insightful dialogue with Ms. Lalin Lilpat Nakwatjidapa (Ms. Tanya), founder of Mister National Universe, who shared details of last year's pageant and unveiled plans for this year’s event. Known as the pageant where luxury and pageantry meet, and for providing the best experiences for contestants, Khun Tanya proudly announced that Onyx Hotels' Amari Watergate, Amari Don Muang Bangkok, and Shama Lakeview Asoke Bangkok would serve as the Official Host Hotels for this year’s competition. She also revealed plans for the Thai Night Charity event, scheduled for the evening of the 26th at the Amari Watergate, where guests can interact and take pictures with the 26 contestants.  The theme of this year’s event is Thai Soft Power and Tanya emphasized her desire that this goes viral on social media, similar to last year when Mister National Universe attained top trending on Google.
 
The conference also spotlighted the talents of Khun Art Charan Upanan and Khun Thiraporn Sihasopon. Upanan, the designer of the Thai Rajaprataen costumes for the competition, and Sihasopon, the creator of the diamond broach prize, both shared their creative processes and discussed how their work contributes to the overall contest.
 
Subsequently, representatives from the three Onyx properties - Mr. Sukamal Mondal of Amari Watergate, Ms. Sakkara Mahapho of Amari Don Mueang Bangkok, and Mr. Dennis Chong of Shama Lakeview - took to the stage to express their readiness and enthusiasm to be the Official Hotels of Mister National Universe 2023.
 
The conference concluded on a high note with a group photo and an invitation for personal interviews, leaving the audience eagerly anticipating the upcoming Mister National Universe Pageant in Bangkok and the Mister Fitness Supermodel World Competition in Vietnam.
