Funky Hotels In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone.

I was woundering if any body knows of some different hotels in Bangkok?

Up in Chaing Rai there is a hotel called the Red rose, its a really cool place. All the rooms are themed,Fantasy,Boxing, space travel, woodland etc.

Is there anything like that in Bangkok?

Or do you know of a hotel that gives you something a little different? Maybe large rooms, cool lay outs, themed rooms or just some where that you think is a little bit special!!!

I would love to hear from you.

Thanks for your time.

Hi Tyler,

They don't come much funkier than Reflections(do a google search)>Pictures of all the rooms are on their website.

Not a super secret, the Atlanta on Suk Soi 2 http://theatlantahotel.bizland.com/

Not superfunky, not ritzy, but kinda cool, old-period style, Great pool with tropical sun deck. Mini library and nightly movies. Sort of a bookish feel. WICKED cheap. But, really tight about your "companionship". Used to stay there by myself, couldn't stay with my girlfriend until I got married and she had an ID with my last name. Still like the place, though.

hotel 27

with the metal hook in ceiling theme

very affordable

The Grace Hotel is pretty "funky" :o:D:D

Shanghai Inn, Yawaraj. Cheaper than expected and surprisingly stunning...

Shanghai Inn

I stay in a funky place in Bangkok with air for 380 baht/night. I won't say where it is though..

Malaysia Hotel. Very funky in a 1973 way. Its very cheap (700 baht), close to the metro, and has a great restaurant. All sorts of strange types hangout in this hotel...mostly of the gay persuassion......ladyboys...rent boys....dirty old German queens....

Best secret of Bangkok...don't tell anyone!
