Pattaya — Possibly the same woman responsible for the previous purse thief in Pattaya has once again struck, this time targeting a bag containing 100,000 baht worth of valuable items and 20,000 baht cash within a Pattaya bar during the late hours of today, May 21st.

At 00.06 AM today, a Thai woman, Ms. Pattama Hansaer, filed a report with an investigator at the Pattaya Police Station, alleging her bag which contained four gold amulets, two gold rings, and several important documents worth 100,000 baht, and 20,000 baht in cash, had been stolen by an unidentified woman.

The 61-year-old victim told police that the theft took place at the Chick-N-Coop Bar on Pattaya Second Road within the Nongprue sub-district of Pattaya’s Banglamung district. Ms. Pattama filed a report to Pattaya Police along with a CCTV recording within the bar.

Her daughter, Ms. Pan Pongsopitsilp, 44, told police that the culprit walked into the bar while her mother went into the bathroom.

Hmm, unusual to go to the bathroom and leave a handbag behind.. women seem so in tune with keeping their bags with them. Just another thief to get off the Pattaya streets,

Luckily she had recently renewed her insurance policy.

Lucky there was no partridge or pear tree in the bag at the time ????
