A group of Pua Thai Party supporters dressed in RED,   called for the party to prepare to form an alternative coalition if the Move Forward-led coalition talks failed.


They also expressed frustration over perceived disrespect. The leader of Pua Thai said the group's concerns would be taken into consideration,  amidst an ongoing dispute with Move Forward over the House Speaker position.

 

The Move Forward Party has sent a letter inviting the Association of Provincial local authorities for talks due to take place on Thursday on decentralisation power.


Move Forward say the idea is to ensure that local authorities can deliver public services more efficiently.  The policy includes elections of provincial governors, scrapping the so-called regional administration system, and ensuring fair allocation of budget and public scrutiny of local organisations. 

 

Police have seized the passport and blocked the departure of a Chinese journalist and business woman who allegedly exploited her working relationship with police to demand a bribe.

Guo Rui, allegedly demanded 33 million baht in exchange for arranging the dropping of charges against another Chinese woman who was involved in a criminal syndicate, She reportedly paid Guo 14 million baht.

Two men were arrested and 150 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine were seized in Nakhon Ratchasima when police intercepted two cars for a search. Acting on a tip-off, authorities stopped the first car and arrested two men in their 50s, while the second car turned around and drove off, this was later found abandoned at a temple. here officers found several packages labeled Durians, that contained 150 kilos of crystal meth.
