The chairman of the election commission says a decision has yet to be made whether to accept a complaint filed against Move Forward Party leader Pita Lim-jaroen-rat over his shareholding in a media company.

They still need to study grounds for the allegation and whether an inquiry panel should be set up.

Mr Pita gave assurances  that he had already prepared documents to show the  transfer of his shares in a non-performing TV channel.

The Move Forward’s leader held talks with the seven other coalition partners and re-assured the public that hurdles would be overcome.

Meanwhile Thaksin Shinawatra’s family members gathered in Bangkok yesterday where they reportedly agreed that Taksin should delay his return until after the new government is installed.

Thaksin could still face 10-years in jail for misconduct while in office after being tried in absentia after he left the country.
