Would not forget him just yet, he is liked by very powerfull people who wish for him to stay, all this was planned a long time ago, The EC was appointed by the Junta and will always find something to question based on their "interpretation" of the rules. Moreover, they'll take their sweet time in doing so against an opposition candidate as every day after the election goes by, the sense of momentum of the winning, Pro-Democracy side wanes just a little. Finally, after they have done their best to blunt a sense of momentum, they'll refer the case to the NACC "out of an abundance of caution", delay delay caretaker goverment all ok, can see this going on for a long time building up evidence against MF.

There are a lot of very powerfull people who do not like MF and who do not care about the Thai people or what they want.

Yes but I think he'll be replaced....another face because people are bored of him.

But if someone think there is a big change: MF is close to the World Economic Forum, but so are the Shinawattras and so is Prayut. Won't be much change either way.

Oh yeah. Regardless of the outcome in the coming days/weeks, rest assured that old Prayut and his closer clan will play a significant part [in the future] in some capacity or another. Remembering where he comes and how he was chosen....the loyalties are still there. 

 

The present surface movements of MV/PT and others is just that - almost artificial. 

To make a real impact, they'll still have to get around the traditional old guard that still rules the roost. 

It can be done - yet, they'll need time and heady strength to disband Thai political tradition.

One of the problems for the old guard is the dissipation of the ubiquitous charisma that was skillfully employed throughout  Thailand as long as anyone can remember.

Then they're only left with guns as their answer.. 

Oh wait! Perhaps they can persuade Tony to be their new poster boy.
