House Speaker Rift to Be Settled Before Parliament Convenes

BANGKOK, June 26 (TNA) – The House Speaker rift between Move Forward Party and Pheu Thai Party is likely to be settled during the June 28 meeting and will not affect the formation of the eight-party coalition, said Noppadol Pattama, Pheu Thai’s party-list MP.

 

He said he was confident that the negotiation between the two parties on Wednesday would reach a conclusion on the House Speaker post, which will support the formation of the new government.

 

Pheu Thai’s stance adheres to its statement to support the Move Forward Party’s leader and MFP’s sole prime minister candidate, Pita Limjaroenrat to be the new prime minister.
