The Move Forward Party and Pheu Thai, were unable to agree on the House speaker position during yesterday's meeting with the other six parties, but said they hope to reach an agreement today Monday.


Move Forward leader Mr Pita said: "If people are confused, we must apologise. We have a firm intention to form a government and solve people's problems.

 

Local authorities in Bangkok the BMA  found that almost 10,000 fire extinguishers  across the capital need to be replaced urgently.


The inspection was carried out after a student at a bangkok school was killed and 10 others injured when a fire extinguisher exploded on June 23rd.

A Thai elephant gifted to Sri Lanka in 2001 arrived back in Chiang Mai yesterday after Thai authorities demanded the elephants return amid allegations it was tortured and neglected while housed at a Buddhist temple in southern Sri Lanka.
