Four online influencers reported to the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) yesterday (Sunday), to acknowledge charges of advertising or attempting to persuade people, directly or indirectly, to engage in online gambling.

One of the four influencers, Papavee, reportedly told the police that she was offered 4,500 baht for making 10 posts in her Line group to promote an online gambling app, not knowing that it is illegal.

Another influencer, who is also a singer, Nipon, told the police that he and his girlfriend accepted 100,000 baht to make 30 promotional posts for the gambling app in his Line group, because it was easy money.
