snoop1130
The Move Forward party has asked Thai Liberal leader Sereepisuth Temiyavet to contact the Chartthaipattana party, to convince its MPs to vote in favour of its leader, Pita Limjaroenrat, as the next prime minister. Move Forward also offered Chartthaipattana a part in the coalition government, said Varawut Silpa-archa, Chartthaipattana’s leader, today (Monday). Sereepisuth contacted Varawut on Sunday, claiming Move Forward asked him to act on its behalf, Varawut said. Sereepisuth was informed that Varawut could not decide on his own concerning the change of votes. “I have to consult the party’s administration and will call him back,” Varawut said. mfd101
Going to be a fascinating week. Hard not to be emotionally involved despite our status as unwelcome-but-paying outsiders. Edited July 17, 2023 by mfd101
Popular Post mark131v
I think in a way the actions of the junta and their stooges are beginning to play into MF/PT hands The complete and utter hypocrisy is there for all to see. The behaviour of the senators and others in the ruling establishment is being seen by people who possibly where not too bothered before They are being seen as petty entitled not very bright individuals. There use of defamation against the #senator groups is predictable but again it shows their weakness The fact they are crying over students using sweary words is telling The fact they are rolling out the serial whinger again is telling The fact people can see a large number of senators never bothered to turn up is telling The fact most of the senators never bothered to vote is telling In summary it is all telling and I reckon people are losing patience and they want change this time.... 1 1

Given the record voter turnout during the election and an utter collapse in support for them, their faction and their confederates in that election, they should be seen and understood for what they are .........cornered rats. See them, understand them..........know what to expect from them. Edited July 17, 2023 by Enoon 2
Popular Post MrJ2U
Sickening to have 250 unelected people having the ultimate choice who governs the country. It buggers belief. It's a WTF moment in Thai democracy. 2 1

Purdey
Getting all the small potatoes to vote for him is a good move then if a few senators join in even better.
