What would you do?

I just saw an interview on Youtube. It was a Brit who had been married to a Thai lady.  They were married for 8 years and together for 10 year.s.

The title of the interview was “My wife died and I found out she had AIDS on the day she died”.  It was one of the most interesting interviews I had seen.

I then asked myself this question:  What would I do if my wife or girlfriend had told me she was HIV positive?  What would any of us do?  Get angry, run as fast I can to a clinic for an HIV test or stay and be supportive the woman?  I hope I never have to face this question.

First thing to do is get checked, HIV is not the death sentence it once was.

If positive your doctor will prescribe an antiviral medication and will routinely monitor your CD4 levels and adjust medicine if needed.

Then... sit down and talk with your partner and decide where to from there.

we both checked us before we started our relationship, and also 3-4 months in to the relationship or later, not sure exactly. So if she got aids or any std now, then there is nothing to think about.

If she was on medication for aids when we met, I would had discovered that later.
