Mechanic in Chiangmai

Featured Replies

Hello,

Anyone knows a good mechanic in Chiangmai, for an old Mazda 2 2011. We need to check the AC blower motor fan, and other stuff. For those small repairs, I would not like to go to Mazda official place, as they're already speaking about changing all air-cond system.

Any other recommendation welcome.

Thai or English speaking (other than Pro-Auto that I contacted already)

Thanks

Phil.

J&N Auto on one of the ring roads, Jimmy speaks good English.

IME, mechanics farm out AC work to AC specialists.

ProAuto in Hang Dong just south of Makro on the other side.....

After 7 expensive and time consuming trips to CM's "premier" AC place trying to repair my AC I took it to ProAuto & repaired on the first visit & has withstood the test of time....

Tonn - excellent English

Perfect, I went  there, very professional. Blower motor fan changed in 2 hours, for half the price from Mazda.

Very good address. Only for air cond problem.

Thanks Yorkshire Tea

Any new recommendations ? I think I will have to change spark plug and maybe head gasket on my old Mazda 2. Mazda will charge me a fortune for this, and the car is 150k km... Just need even 2nd hand pieces replacement.

Can vouch for Pratan behind bkk hospital in the ban buak khrok mai area. He primarily works on Mazdas and usually has the parts there, if not then he can get the parts in a couple days compared to the dealer which can take two weeks. He does good work and his prices are reasonable. Get there early before 8am, he tends to fill up fast.
