jcgodber Posted July 12, 2007 Share Posted July 12, 2007 (edited) It’s starting……. Yesterday a Bangkok factory closed its doors and laid off more than 5000 workers with no warning. A day or two ago the furniture company near me, BOFA , has announced that it too will be closing all factories and moving to Burma. The baht is now too high and is forcing companies to go where they can find cheaper workers. Jim From Bangkok Post……..
