Credit card payment at 7-Eleven now from 200 baht up?

Featured Replies

I was told at a local 7-Eleven that payment by credit card is only possible for amounts of 200 baht and up. Like in good old pre-covid days. Is that what they call cashless society?

Still don't take debit cards.

No.  That's called paying certain bills with a credit card.

They took my Bkk Bank card last week, but would not allow payment by phone because I am Falang.

A Thai guy paid on HIS phone for my beers, and I immediately transferred back to him.

It's a lottery. Apple Pay - tap phone doesnt work on the white ones but does on grey ones. I don't think 7/11 accept the normal QR payments, possible Thai guy paid with TrueWallet or another options?
