Renewing a Lao passport in Bangkok?

Anyone know if a Lao person can renew a Lao passport in BKK at the embassy or do they have to go back to Lao to renew this?

No.  Just a phone number that is rarely answered!

well I just found it.   http//laoembassybkk.com      they also have fax numbers.

That's great, thanks (on behalf of the OP).  But there's nothing on the website that answers the OP's question. In my experience faxing and calling is pointless, hence raising it (again!) on this Forum.

 

Hopefully someone here might have actual experience of doing it.
