Hopefully I can find the answers to a couple of questions I have regarding registering a small business in Thailand.

Firstly, when a business is registered, does the registration need to take place in the same provence the business will be operating in or can this be added or amended at a later date?

Secondly, does a commercial address need to be given at the time of registration or can this also be added or amended at a later date?

This would be a 100% Thai owned and operated business startup, based in either a residential or commercial property rental.

Many thanks.

The answer for the first question is Yes. Tax collected is for province building purposes and the business had to be operated in that province.

During registration, address must be provided with hand drawn maps of the actual location. It can be a residential address and a rented property. The address can be change at a later date but if same province most agent charge 3-5k baht and if different province they charge 12-15k.
