Miraculous Escape as Steel Rod Shatters Car Windshield

PATHUM THANI - A young man narrowly escaped death as a mystery steel rod, spanning meters in length, struck his car's windshield, almost penetrating through to him. In a stroke of luck, the rod hit the roof's support before reaching the car's interior.

On August 19th, Satjasin Phanlima posted on Facebook a warning and an account of the incident, expressing disbelief at the massive accident. The steel rod, seemingly coming out of nowhere, smashed into the car's windshield, causing it to shatter.

Fortunately, the rod hit the roof's support, preventing it from entering the car, reported Daily News.

The incident took place around noon on the Chatchotit Bridge. Toll booth records from Thanyaburi were collected to identify vehicles with dashcams that might have recorded the event. "If anyone has footage of this incident, please send it to my inbox," Satjasin Phanlima wrote.
