Thanathorn Urges Public To Sign Petition To Draft New Charter

PROGRESSIVE Movement chairman Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit posted a message on X, formerly Twitter, urging the public to sign on paper that they support the writing of a new constitution after the Election Commission refused to accept an e-petition supported by 53,500 people, Matichon newspaper said today (Aug. 24).

 

Thanathorn said human rights watchdog iLaw and other agencies that had mounted this campaign to write a new charter on Aug. 13 had only till 8 p.m. tomorrow evening to get supporters to sign on paper that they do so.

 

“Please come and sign up at the Future Forward Building, just two minutes as the first step towards a people’s constitution,” he wrote.
