He was invited by Indonesian President Joko Widodo.The Summit is being held in Jakarta from September 4 to 7.

Accompanying Mr Hun Manet are Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, key officials, as well as many private sector leaders.

 

Key agenda items include the Five-Point Consensus on Myanmar and the ASEAN Leaders’ Decision. The leaders will also delve into the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific region, and exchange insights on regional and international matters of shared concern.

 

The discussions will focus on building an ASEAN community with a long-term vision and people-centeredness as a key force for achieving ASEAN 2045.

During his visit to Jakarta, Mr Hun Manet will pay a courtesy call and discuss work with President Joko.

The Prime Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with his ASEAN counterparts and other key world leaders.
