Popular Post webfact
Residents of Khon Kaen province are raising concerns over high-voltage electrical poles positioned directly in the middle of an unlit road. This alarming situation extends for nearly 200 meters and relevant authorities have quickly initiated corrective actions. On September 5th, online news reported an image shared by a Facebook user from "Khon Kaen News Community" page, reported Daily News. The image depicted high-voltage electrical poles standing in the center of a concrete road within a local village in Nam Phong district, Khon Kaen. The caption urged for immediate intervention, highlighting the risk and lack of illumination on the road. Journalists visiting the area found four such poles situated within a nearly 200-meter stretch. Local village headman, Mr. Anek Ratsa, aged 37, gave insights into the situation. While the road is still operational with two lanes, another concrete road is under construction adjacent to it. However, the four high-voltage poles remain positioned on this road. A sign nearby the poles reads, "Apologies for the inconvenience. Construction is underway." Picture: Daily News Anek emphasized the convenience of the current road without any breakage, but questioned the municipality's intentions. With the poles yet to be relocated and an ongoing road construction, villagers are worried about potential accidents, especially at night due to the lack of lighting. Anek added, "We've inquired with the local municipality. They had budgeted for this road and coordinated with the electric department to move the poles, but no action was taken. With the construction deadline looming, the contractor proceeded despite the delay in electrical work." The issue has since garnered attention on social media, awaiting further response from related agencies. -- ASEAN NOW 2023-09-06 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. ezzra
By the look of it it doesn't look like a 'road' more like a narrow paved lane for walking an cycling, it has no shoulders, no defined structure of a carriage way, no making, more like a walk-way and not really designed for driving.

Have you ever lived in rural Thailand as there are many roads just like this one obviously minus the power line poles....
