Sa Kaeo - The Aranya Prathet Rescue Foundation received distress calls from local residents seeking help to capture two large snakes in the Aranya Prathet district of Sa Kaeo province. These massive snakes, measuring 3-4 meters long, were threatening the village's chickens, reported 77kaoded.

On September 14, 2023, the foundation's rescue team, in coordination with the Aranyaprathet Wildlife Control Division (Eastern Region), led by Mr. Korint Kattikamchon, the President of the Aranya Prathet Rescue Foundation, swiftly responded to the villagers' plea. The team, led by Mr. Buntam Anusin, successfully and safely captured the large snakes in the Nong Sang sub-district.

The homeowner, Ms. Oravipa Wongtasai, who keeps chickens, reported that this was the third time snakes had infiltrated her property. Previous attempts by inexperienced villagers had failed due to the intimidating size of the snakes. Grateful for the rescue, Ms. Wongtasai expressed her relief at the professionals' assistance.

Additionally, the Aranya Prathet Rescue Foundation received another call from villagers in the Pa Rai sub-district, where they encountered another massive snake, exceeding three meters in length.

The foundation urged residents to report any snake or venomous creature sightings in the Aranya Prathet area for immediate assistance, emphasizing their 24/7 availability at 037-247226 and 063-2434454.
