An illegal gunmaker fled his rented house before a police raid yesterday. The house had a well-equipped workshop with various tools, homemade gun barrels, and replica guns, which he planned to convert into live ammunition-capable assault rifles.

 

The 32-year-old suspect was not present in the Nakhon Sri Thammarat residence, which had surveillance cameras for monitoring arrivals in the housing estate and near the house.
