Hi. I appreciate that there are numerous posts on this topic and apologies for opening this one but I’m not 100% sure what the rule is for the TM30 in Pattaya for those who enter on 30 day exempt stamp. Does your TM30 that you show at the immigration office to extend (15 days) need to be from the date you enter Thailand (new rule I read somewhere?) or is it OK to use a recent TM30 from a hotel short stay for a day or two?

Many Thanks

The extension is 30 days and it's added to your existing expiry date.

You most likely require a TM30.

Ask hotel to provide screenshot of it..

Short stay is fine
