Police apprehended 53 gamblers at a site inside a stadium at Don Muang Bangkok yesterday morning. Acting on a tip off, around 40 officers broke down iron gates to enter the room where they arrested 30 men and 23 women. The suspected 37 year old operator was also caught,  She’s reportedly wanted on other gambling-related charges.

The government is working with myanmar authorities to repatriate 120 Thai citizens who were rescued from a human trafficking operation near the Myanmar-China border. The Thai embassy is in the process of coordinating with Myanmar authorities to identify and return the group. 

According to a recent 'Nida' Poll, the majority of Thais are against the government's proposal to extend the opening hours of bars and nightclubs from 2 am to 4 am. some argue that such places shouldn't be allowed to open at all.  more than half of the Thirteen hundred people  surveyed expressed their disagreement with the proposal.

Chinese television said in 2013 the man who worked at a defence institute was sent to a US university, where he was coerced into revealing Chinese state secrets. The man will face trial in the city of Chengdu.

Twenty-seven cyclists were injured some seriously in a pile up during the first post-Covid Hong Kong Cyclothon, yesterday.

The accident prompted the sports association head to defend the course layout following criticism from some riders who said many traffic cones limited the amount of space for riders.
