The incident began when he was abruptly cut off on the road, the truck driver known as Ji, was shocked by the encounter and wasted no time in calling the police. A team comprising local police and military personnel worked together to track down and capture the alleged offender, reported Daily News. The police managed to arrest Panrit along Highway 35 in Samut Sakhon Province. He was found in possession of a 9mm semi-automatic pistol, a magazine, and three bullets and was charged with carrying a weapon in public without permission. Picture: Daily News The investigation revealed that Ji was driving Rama II Road towards Samut Sakhon when Panrit, upset by Ji’s sudden lane change, threatened him with a gun. Fearing for his safety, Ji pulled over and sought police assistance. The officers, alerted to the incident, monitored various escape routes before eventually locating and apprehending Panrit in Samut Sakhon’s Mueang District. Panrit confessed to the crime, citing his anger at being cut off as the reason for his actions. He is now under the custody of Bang Thorat Police Station, awaiting legal proceedings. The police are committed to ensuring the safety and security of the public and urged drivers to remain calm and courteous to avoid such dangerous confrontations on the road.
