Phuket – A prominent Royal Thai Immigration commander has ordered a crackdown on ‘foreign mafia’ in Phuket after six foreigners, including Indian and Russian nationals, attacked Immigration officers.
 

The Royal Thai Immigration Bureau Chief Lieutenant General Itthiphon Itthisarnronnachai visited Phuket after the incident. He gave encouragement to law enforcement officers who had been injured after being attacked by six Indian men in Thalang.

 

Lieutenant General Itthiphon said foreigners who are not respectful of Thai laws must be deported especially if they are being aggressive and are a threat to the country. Itthiphon added that all foreign criminals would be removed from Phuket and Thailand.

Why would they care about Thai mafia? Most of those would be in positions that control the immigration and the city. Besides, it is not an immigration police problem.

Wow ... Chinese , Indian , Arab , German , English , American ... criminals found and deported ... big task .

Funny how the guys they wanted hade elite visas. What background checks were done? Or what background checks were paid NOT to be done. Next week they will be lining up 70-year-old pensioners on 5 days overstay. Ha!

To help avoid future problems try checking the home country criminal record before you allow entry to the Kingdom of convicted foreign crims in the first place. 

Chinese, Indians and Russian mafia?  Perhaps something  to do with the free visas with reduced verification increasing the crime rate.

What about.most wanted Irish mafia and the pedophiles from Europe  living and abusing young girls in Thailand I wonder if their black and Nigerians

Years ago while in university, I was told by many blacks to 'never trust a Nigerian'. While travelling in Central America I was told 'Never trust a Colombian'.

Why does there always need to be a CRACKDOWN? Crime prevention and detection should be a daily occurrence. Thai police are always reactive and never proactive 

 

if you want to look into mafia start in your own police organization, working in cahoots with visa agents doesn’t help the situation 

Dont have to go far  just walk out of Phuket HQ and off you go 

What do you expect letting all the Trust fund / seedy Ruskys in due to running from Puton. 

Set up shop on new ground 

And just give them more incentive by giving them 90 day visa on arrival. 

They just dont get it  the   Thai government its always a quick fix that always bites them in the arse then when its to late the try to fix it. 

 

Phuket is going to  be a melting pot and be a big issue  i was going to move there not now ruined  by a few cultures that like to take over anywhere the go  and the thai government let it happen. 

When the war is over and all the trust fund babies can go home Phuket will be a ghetto and the ones that do stay you dont want anyway

enough of that kind of thing. some of my best friends are from a few of those countries. speaking of which -there's a fair representation of foreign mafia on Phuket from Britain. stupid is as stupid does.
